Kirk A. Rogers — For me, Art has become a source of joy and an escape from pain. Ever since I survived a 54 day long coma, which left me paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair, painting has provided me with freedom and a much-needed outlet for self-expression. It is this freedom that makes me happy! I love to paint. It is like reading a good book where you feel like you're part of the story. The paintings that pass though me
