VSA arts of New Mexico is part of an international network of VSA arts organizations, coordinated through a headquarters office in Washington, D.C. and affiliated with The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Formerly known as Very Special Arts New Mexico, VSA arts of New Mexico moved into the new millennium by changing its name to VSA arts of New Mexico in June 2000.
